Brooklyn Beckham is clapping back at trolls who condemn his cooking videos.
Despite the term ‘nepo baby’ being thrown around when describing the son of David and Posh Beckham, Brooklyn isn’t fazed.
“To be honest, I’m used to the hate. It doesn’t really bother me. Cooking makes me happy. I have more important things to worry about than people saying a little bit of rubbish about me,” he told the outlet.
The budding chef, whose videos of making cheese wheel pasta and pecan pie have gone viral, insists that he’s ‘working his bum off’ despite his privileged upbringing.
When asked what he thinks about his trolls, the 24-year-old said: “My message to them is to keep writing whatever they want to write.
“There are always going to be people out there who try and pull you down.
“I’m doing my thing and working my bum off.
“So they can keep writing what they want, but it’s not going to bother me — I’m just going to keep doing my thing.”
Beckham said he plans to continue to improve his skills while generating more cooking content via his social media channels.
“I’m not a professional at all, I’m just starting out,” he added.
“So I’m just gonna continue doing my videos and see where it takes me.”
Last year, Beckham attracted criticism after appearing in a TikTok by Daniel Mac.
Mac, known for approaching owners of luxury cars and celebrities asking them, ‘What do you do for a living?’, posted his interaction with the Brit who was spotted in a red McLaren P1.
In the video, the content creator is seen running up to Beckham, asking him how he could afford such an expensive ride.
To which Beckham replies: “I’m a chef.”
Surely being the son of British celebrity royalty would have something to do with some spenny wheels, no?
Many members of the public were quick to point out they previously had no idea Beckham considered himself a chef and thought cooking was just his hobby.
Responding to the clip, one TikTok user wrote: “Not him pretending being a chef got him that car….. Brooklyn, please.”
Another commented: “I’m a chef. Okay Mr Beckham”
While a third user said: “Went to this ‘chef’s’ TikTok page and he has one video making pasta sauce from a jar.”
