Vevo released its top 2022 streamed videos. Lil Baby ranked number one for the third consecutive year, while Colombian artist, Karol G, makes a comeback with “Provenza,” after a seven-month hiatus.

From Colombia to the top of the world, Karol G is the most watched artist globally, for the second year in a row. Her video for single, “Provenza” landed first place with over 547 million views worldwide.

The song, originally released in April, is a new direction for the Latin artist who has been exploring more tropical sounds. 

The video shares a message of positivity and empowerment featuring an all-female cast with diverse body types.  

For Lil Baby, number one on the music chart isn’t anything new. For the third year in a row, the Atlanta artist has ranked at No. 1 on the U.S. Top Ten Artists list with nearly 674.7 million views. Lil Baby also came in second for Vevo’s Top viewed videos with 240 million views for “In A Minute.”

In addition, Future ranked second with 489.5 million views, followed by Chris Brown at 424.3 million views.

Rap superstar Drake has broken many records, including surpassing The Beatles, and has reached a new milestone. Now, the “6 God” has tied with Jay-Z for the most No.1 albums on the Billboard Hip-Hop/R&B charts.

Champagne Papi is neck and neck with the legendary rap and business mogul Jay-Z for most No.1 albums on the Billboard Hip-Hop/R&B charts. This comes after dropping his collaboration album with 21 Savage, Her Loss.
